Spectators

The shadow that appears ephemeral and elusive to us has an evidence that cannot be explained by the laws of optics and eludes the logic of perception. But at the same time it is rooted in legend and myth, and traces of legend and myth come to the eye of the observer. The shadow is something immaterial, which only becomes real because it can be looked at, and thus figuratively represented. The provocation of Spectators is built on this ambiguity: what if we were only shadows? Mere spectators of the world we live in?
